Welcome to Money $heep's brand new site. Money $heep's goal is to help youth build a base of financial knowledge that they can use to tackle the financial world we live in. Today, I would like to introduce myself, Carrie Wintle.
I was raised on a family farm in the heart of South Dakota, by two loving, hard-working parents. My brother is an avid debater, which leads to many intriguing "discussions" between siblings. Family is a precious gift that I cherish daily - our greatest legacy is the family we leave behind.
I graduated from the University of South Daktoa in May 2017 with a Bachelors in Business Administration - Accounting and a Bachelors of Science - Mathematics. Adventure is out there, as I just moved to Nashville, TN to begin my Masters in Accountancy Valuation at Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management. Can you tell I love numbers? Education is one of my deepest passions. As an elementary student, I would hop into my mom's car as we left school for summer vacation and immediately ask when we could get school supplies for the next school year. My enthusiasm for numbers and education led me to found Money $heep.
Quick Fire Round with Carrie:
I am a crazy cat lady to the core. Who else has a cat statue that doubles as a toilet brush holder in their bathroom?
I have a newfound love for playing the piano.
Nothing beats a good hamburger and apple pie.
My perfect day involves a cup of coffee (heavy on the peppermint mocha creamer), a good book, and a quiet drizzle of rain.
