One of the best parts of this year has been sharing it with the people that love me most, my parents.
Attending local competitions is one of my favorite things to do as Miss South Dakota. It is inspiring to see other young women take the leap of faith and invest in themselves. It takes courage to step onto a pageant stage.

This year I get to spend Thanksgiving as Miss South Dakota. I am thankful for my family who never stopped believing in me, my friends who continuously cheer me on, and my Savior, Jesus Christ, for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
